Dominik B. Fleury is an electrical engineering student with minors in cybersecurity and astrophysics. He is also an amateur student of history, philosophy, and Catholic theology. This substack is the location for a variety of projects, including certain exhibitions of school-related work, but mainly his writings and podcasts about science, philosophy, theology, literature, and culture.

Dominik grew up Roman Catholic and was blessed with a rich environment which enabled and encouraged him in his intellectual pursuits in philosophy, literature, history, and science, all informed by the Catholic worldview.

The Catholic worldview is one that espouses intelligibility in the universe and in history. It views truth as absolute and the purpose of life definite in its ordering toward the ultimate reality that is God. It is the worldview that enabled the great scientific and cultural advancements during the middle ages through modern times. The alternative worldview views the world as chaotic and absurd, with reality and meaning defined by individuals. When properly thought through, this is a terrifying prospect. For this reason, this website exists to share the Catholic worldview with as many people as possible and help clear up this dichotomy for those who live under the other worldview.
